Founded in 1993 by Jim Brown, a 24 year navy veteran and Master Chief Petty Officer in the US Nuclear Submarine Service, US Tank is a rapidly growing company serving the cryogenic gas industry. With a strong background in vacuum technology from the Lithium Bromide systems on submarines and training in the Navy School for cryogenics, Jim Brown sought to develop this business ensuring the quality control mandatory in submarines and utilizing his skills & knowledge in vacuum technology & cryogenics.

US Tank meets and exceeds the highest standards in the industry on every tank we refurbish. Our 40,000 square ft facility in Sarasota (with an additional 80,000 square ft of storage) is the center of our nationwide operation. The management team is the heart of this business, and they are:
